Treshawn Brown

Treshawn Brown is from New Orleans, LA.  Treshawn has over thirty-five years of experience in Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Modern, and Hip Hop dance techniques.  She received her early training at Deirdre’s School of Dance and Gymnastics and The New Orleans Center for Creative Arts. She was an invited dancer for the 1992 Olympic Track and Field Trials Opening Ceremonies and performed with the Delta Festival Nutcracker for 5 years.  She has also had the honor dancing alongside actor, tap dance performer, and youngest man to be nominated for a Tony Award, Savion Glover.

Her teaching and choreography experience consists of being the current Competition Director and Choreographer at Charlotte Dance Alliance, former Owner and Artistic Director of Dancerz Stage Dance Studio, and over 20 years of teaching experience across the United States for many different studios focusing on technique.
