Matthew Goss

Matthew is an advocate of music education and believes that music study can have
unparalleled benefits on every student. He began playing piano at the age of four through the
Suzuki Method.

Matthew is a prizewinning pianist of various competitions and has performed at prestigious
venues such as Weill Recital Hall in New York City. He earned an Advanced Music Studies
Certificate in piano from Carnegie Mellon University in 2017. Matthew also earned his
Bachelor of Music in piano from Belmont University and his Master of Music in piano from
The University of South Carolina.

Currently, Matthew is the Director of Sacred Music at St Dorothy’s Catholic Church in
Lincolnton. He is also a member of the faculty at Chun University in Charlotte.
