Briana Beamon was born and raised in Charlotte, N.C. where she began dancing at the age of three. She joined the competition team at Dance Productions when she was nine. After much success with all styles of competitive dance, she then studied under Rebecca Wiley at the Piedmont School of Music & Dance and Piedmont Dance Theatre where she was a teacher, choreographer and featured soloist. Ms. Beamon continued her dance training into her college years at Princeton University and UNC Charlotte. Briana was a member of the Bodyhype Dance Company from 2006 – 2009, guest choreographer for the Princeton University Department of Dance where she choreographed “Ragtime, The Musical” earning her a PrinceTony nomination. Throughout her career, Ms. Beamon has enjoyed working with students helping them cultivate a passion for dance that will last a lifetime.
