Received his Bachelor of Music from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts under the tutelage of Gerald Klickstein. While specializing in classical guitar, Payton is just as passionate and well versed with steel and electric guitar styles. He is also an avid piano player and transfers his pedagogical skills from Guitar to Piano with ease.
